Work related injuries sustained during the course of your employment or arising out of your employment are covered by workers compensation.  While this sounds simple it too often is not.

Under the Connecticut Workers Compensation Act injured employees are entitled to certain basic benefits including payment of their accident related medical bills, payment of a portion of their wages and a permanency award depending on the severity of their injuries as assessed by a doctor.  Some workers compensations can be settled for a lump sum taking into account all past and future benefits you may be entitled to.
